Child Line Urges People To Come Forward With Information

CHILD ABUSECitizens are being warned by the non -profit organization, Child Line, not to ignore known incidents of abuse against children and young people.

Child Line Outreach Officer, Tameka Joseph, made the comment during a News Power Now exclusive interview on  Tuesday .

She said the organization’s hotline and help line numbers are operational, twenty-four hours, every day of the year and are confidential.

Ms. Joseph said the outreach officers of Child Line get the opportunity to interact with parents and young people on a regular basis to get vital information across to the public.

The Child Line official also noted why it is important for cases of abuses to be reported instead of silenced.
