Chinese National Among Three Arrested in Anti Crime Exercise in Morvant.

Police have arrested three persons, including a Chinese national during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Morvant district yesterday. A vehicle that was reported stolen, was also recovered, by officers of the Northern Division during the exercise.

The exercise, conducted around 1:00pm, on Wednesday was supervised by Insp. Joseph and included officers of the Northern Division’s Special Investigations Unit, the Northern Division’s Crime Scene Unit and the Northern Division Task Force.

During the exercise, officers proceeded to Lady Young Road, Morvant, where they recovered one white Hyundai Tucson motor vehicle, which was stolen during a home invasion incident in the Maracas, St. Joseph district on Wednesday.

The men; a 38-year-old Chinese national of Tunapuna, a 46-year-old of Greenvale and a 40-year-old of Malick, were arrested in connection with the home invasion and the larceny motor vehicle.
