Effective yesterday June 1st citizens of Trinidad and Tobago who are sixty years and over will be exempted from paying the application fee of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00), for a Trinidad and Tobago Passport.


The Ministry of National Security Immigration Division made the announcement via media release today, pursuant to Government’s commitment as presented in the 2015/2016 budget statement.

The public is asked to note that this exemption does not apply to expedited requests, or to the replacement of lost or mutilated passports.

Those special services remain subject to the applicable fees.
