Head of the Victim and Witness Support Unit, Margaret Sampson-Browne has said the current increase in murder/suicides is disturbing.
This as the country has recorded five murder/suicides for the year.
Mrs. Sampson-Browne said she hopes that this trend stops.
She added that an extra effort is needed for intervention and mediation to curb the increase in domestic violence issues.
Mrs. Sampson-Browne said that communities also play a part in the reduction of serious crimes and she urged citizens to look out for each other.
