The sister Isle of Tobago is currently engaged in a Clean-up Campaign keeping with a clean, green and safe Tobago.

The Tobago House of Assembly’s Island Wide Clean-up Campaign launched in September and thus far they have yielded 127 truckloads of mixed waste, collected by the Public Health Department across the island.

Each area across the Island averaged between 20 and 22 truckloads of waste, including 21 truckloads collected between Charlotteville to Calder Hall, and 18 more between L’anse Fourmi and Scarborough.

The Department collected a wide range of waste, including bulky materials, sheets of galvanised steel, stoves, and refrigerators.

The campaign ends on October 2.
