Discussions continue between the officials of the Port of Spain City Corporation and Local Government Ministry concerning finding a suitable location to accommodate vendors which now operate at the Salvatorie site.
Port of Spain Mayor, Raymond Tim Kee, made the revelation in a News Power Now interview this afternoon.
The vendors have been allowed to operate at the Salvatori site during the Christmas season.
A deadline of January 2nd has been given to the vendors to vacate the location.
However, some vendors have voiced concern about the availability of a site to house them.
Mayor Tim Kee said from feedback he has received deliberations are still taking place on the matter.
