The Public Accounts Enterprises Committee is concerned about the late submission of financial statements of many state companies. This development was raised during a PAEC news media briefing Tuesday afternoon. PAEC member and Labour Minister, Jenifer Baptiste Primus, told reporters on several occasion some of the reports reflected financial and auditing details years behind.
Another PAEC member and Independent Senator, David Small commented on the need for better accountability from state enterprises.
Meanwhile, PAEC Chairman, Wade Mark, listed some of the findings of the Committee and outline recommendations to improve delivery from state entities.
