Following the levy several Corporation vehicles were repossessed by the police.
The move came following court action taken by one of the Corporation’s garbage contractors over the payment of outstanding funds.
In a News Power Now interview this afternoon, Chairman of the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, Edwin Gooding, said the matter will be raised with the cabinet this week.
Mr Gooding said in spite of the court levy the Corporation’s operation has not been adversely affected.
He said action is being taken to ensure the situation does not occur again in the future.
