Las Police are currently searching for two suspects following a home invasion along the Las Lomas #1 Road. The victim told police that he was at home at around 5:05 pm on Monday, in the company of his wife and two children when two men, both wearing masks and latex gloves, confronted him and announced a hold up.


The victim told police that one of the men pointed a firearm at him and demanded that he go into the house. The men proceeded to tie up the victim and his wife and ransacked the bedroom. The men relieved the family of two wedding rings, a gaming console, two Samsung cell phones, and one silver Nissan Wingroad Motor vehicle. The estimated value of the theft was TT$101,500.


At the end of the ordeal, the victim managed to call the police. Officers of the Las Lomas Police Post, were immediately dispatched to the scene. With the assistance of the Central Division Task Force and Air Support Tactical, the vehicle was tracked and recovered abandoned along the Mount Moriah Road, Cunupia. The vehicle is currently being processed by crime scene investigators.
