This according to its Executive Director.
Devrol Dupigny, Executive Director of Crime Stoppers International said when the initiative started in T&T there was a major crackdown in different areas of crime and including the drug trade in an out of the country.
Dupigny said globally there have been over 9,000 in arrests coming out of Crime Stoppers model.
Dupigny said there are currently 13 countries in the Caribbean who take full use of the model in an effort to curve crime regionally.
The 37th Annual Crime Stoppers International Conference will be held in T&T of this year during the month of October.
