On the heels of a weekend of bloodshed in Trinidad and Tobago, criminologist Ramesh Deoseran is speaking out and calling on the government to take his recommendations into account, in dealing with the crime scourge that is affecting this country.
In an interview this morning, Mr. Deoseran said there is a link that must be looked at between the Education System and young criminals.

He said this country’s international reputation is at stake and a three month hiatus by the police commissioner, presents its own problems.
Calling for serious intervention to deal with crime in Trinidad and Tobago, the criminologist said there must be consensus building politics involved.
