Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley has indicated that he did not fire former Sport Minister, Darryl Smith for sexual harassment.

Speaking during a public meeting on Tuesday, Dr. Rowley clarified his rationale for firing the former minister. He explained that the Minister’s involvement in attempting to adjust a letter of incompetence and essentially, dismissal, against a temp employee hired by the Minister himself, was what led to his move to sack Darryl Smith.
