Director of the Police Complaints Authority, David West said the PCA is trying to put several mechanisms in place to treat with police killings.
Speaking on the Power Breakfast show on Power 102.1fm this morning, West said unlike our neighbouring country, Jamaica, there is no law enforced to contact the PCA when a police killing occurs.
West went on to add the major problem facing cases of police killings are witnesses who will feel safe to come forward and give a statement.
West said the issue of witness protection and providing a stable service is one he has one the front burner.
