Therese 2 Confirmation that at least 3 of the 5 doctors suspended over the March 4 death of Chrystal Boodoo Ramsumair are back out to work

Today Chairman of the South West Regional Heath Authority Dr Lakram Boodoo explained this at a media conference held at the Park Street Port of Spain Office of the Health Ministry

He admitted that the suspensions caused severe backlog and that’s why there was a need to engage the services of private practitioners

With the help of health Minister, Therese Baptiste Cornelis he sought to clear up some monetary confusion surrounding the decision which he said had positive results

The doctors were suspended pending an investigation, the results of which remain hidden in a report, which is now the heart of a new controversy

There have been complaints from the Medical Professionals Association of Trinidad and Tobago or MPATT that they were yet to receive a copy

The health Minister explained the Association would not be getting one
