This country is opening its arms to residents of Dominica who’ve been affected after the catastrophic Hurricane Maria made landfall earlier this week, ravaging the island.

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley today told the media and this country’s nationals, by extension, that Dominicans who can find a place to stay here in T&T, are welcome to do so, for six months while reconstruction takes place in their homeland.

He called on T&T’s citizens to show their generosity by providing whatever assistance they could, to those who’ve been affected by this most recent natural disaster.

Fifteen people have been discovered dead and some 20 are said to be missing on that island.
