Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is scheduled to pay an Official Visit to Jamaica during from July 17 to 21st, a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister said today.
Items on the agenda for discussion include a range of issues of mutual interest to both Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica, the statement said without giving further detail.
And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has disclosed that a Trinidadian national who was in an Istanbul airport at the time of an attack that killed 28 people yesterday is said to be safe and continuing her journey.
A release says the woman has been contacted and was at the time safely at her hotel.
This country’s honorary consul to Turkey says to date there have been no reports of death or injury to nationals of Trinidad and Tobago in Turkey.
