According to the Opposition leader Trinidad and Tobago has a serious national security problem that is compounded by the availability of too much room for criminals to easily maneuver.
Speaking during the People’s National Movements’,45th annual convention yesterday, Dr. Keith Rowley said while there are reports of 335 murders in T&T for the year thus far, the figure could actually be more.
The Opposition Leader said this issue should be the number one priority of any government, and added that the People’s National Movement commits to focusing on dealing with this in the future.
Meanwhile, Dr. Rowley also spoke of traffic congestion across the country. He said while this problem has been a headache for many years, the People’s National Movement, during its term in office had begun efforts to implement a mass Transportation System. He highlighted that this was shot down by the ruling government.
