Duke says Port situation deteriorating, calls for Transport Minister to be removed

Minority Leader in the Tobago House of Assembly Watson Duke is today calling for the removal of the Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan.

He says that the people in Tobago continue to suffer with no end in sight.

This as Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan said that the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago was seeking technical advice from the World Bank on the purchase of a new cargo vessel to operate between Port of Spain and Scarborough.

He made the comment while responding to questions posed on the matter by the Opposition.
However Watson Duke revealed that businessmen and citizens in Tobago have had to deal with endless problems on the sea bridge with promises of some relief however things are continuing to deteriorate.

He says life in Tobago is grinding to a halt.
