The Minister of Education remained optimistic that a resolution can be found on which school would be housed at the building that previously facilitated the Arima Government Primary School.
Two schools in the area have their eyes on the building, however it was announced that the Arima Hindu School would occupy the vacant compound.
This decision did not sit well with the Mayor of Arima, George Hadeed who proposed that the Hindu School be housed at the Pinto Road Community Centre and the Arima
Central Secondary School be allowed to occupy the facility.
Minister Dr. Tim Gopeesingh stated that issue would be resolved.
