This comment comes from President of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association President, Devanand Sinanan.

The Ministry of Education, and by extension the government, has come under fire from education stakeholders who say sufficient attention has not been paid to educating children with disabilities.

However the Chief Education Officer, Harrilal Seecharan revealed that the problem is being addressed.

He assured that all new schools are accessible to persons of all abilities.

Education Minister, Anthony Garcia revealed that Cabinet has made certain decision regarding children based on their view that all children deserves proper education.
