EMA Assures Clean Up Continues at Petrotrin’s Santa Flora Site.

EMAThe Environmental Management Authority in a report regarding the current oil spill at the Petrotrin base in Santa Flora said work will continue to be done with containing and collecting oil until all has been removed.

In a media release sent by the EMA, PETROTRIN has assured that they will continue cleaning the site and plans to remove contaminated vegetation in the vicinity of spill.

This will then be followed by repair works on the affected pipeline.

The EMA will continue to monitor this activity until the completion of the repairs.

The public is once again encouraged to contact the EMA at 680-9588 and 285-4362, to report any environmental incidents of a similar nature.

    Here again this EMA seems to be only protecting themselves AND NOT MANAGING THIS DESTRUCTING NATURE OF AN AGING PLANT THAT WAS VERY POORLY MANAGED BY PAST UNC AND PNM WANNA BEES. Who is qualified to meet the now demands of the EMA?….certainly not POLITICAL CRONIES!
