Environmental Activist Speaks Out Against Government’s Removal of Energy Based Subsidies.

by | Nov 27, 2017

Given the state of the economy in Trinidad and Tobago, there is no need for the removal of energy-based subsidies.

That’s the view of environmental activist Petra Bridgemohan.

In an interview with host Andy Johnson on the programme Impact T&T here on Power 102.1fm, Ms. Bridgemohan voiced concern that the shareholders of the major oil companies continue to profit immensely.

Ms. Bridgemohan also spoke of the lack development in Mayaro where she says things have not significantly improved despite the presence of BPTT.
