Comedian and Television personality, Errol Fabien, says he remains an independent candidate for now, as the verdict is out on whether or not he would accept the offers coming from several parties.
Mr. Fabien cancelled the launch of his campaign on Sunday at the last moment, which he attributed to offers now from several parties asking him to contest on their ticket.
Mr Fabien dispelled rumours that he may file for nomination as a Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) candidate, saying that he had only spoken once with MSJ Political Leader, David Abdullah, but he was never given any further confirmation.
He also did not rule out contesting under the banner of the Independent Liberal Party (ILP).
Mr. Fabien said his decision to enter the political arena was to give the people of St Joseph good representation, and that he was not phased by any traditional voting along party lines.
