The Family Planning Association (FPA) has offered assistance to the Government in implementing the proposed Baby Grant.
They have called for there to be more clarity on the grant’s administration.
FPA’s Executive director Donna Da Costa-Martinez said the plan is good, but it needs to be more transparency.
Mrs. Da Costa-Martinez said a number of non-governmental agencies can help with family planning and has stated her group’s intension to approach the state.
On Monday the Prime Minister said that the grant was meant to assist low income mothers with their child’s care.
