Finance Minister Colm Imbert says this country’s debt will be serviced, and he assured the population that based on projections done by the Ministry of Finance, the country’s economy is in good standing for the next three years.

Speaking during this morning’s virtual media conference, Minister Imbert highlighted that government has spent $934 million in Covid-19 relief efforts thus far. He said even with such a large amount spent on COVID relief, the Ministry is satisfied that after a proper examination of all that is available, there is more than enough financing available to cover both the budget deficit and debt servicing.
