Acting President of the Fire Service Association, Ashton Cunningham said that he was expecting some relief to their situation.
This followed a protest in front of the Parliament at the International Waterfront on Friday.
Mr. Cunningham said he was able to voice his concerns and deliver a letter outlining issues within the Fire Service.
Mr. Cunningham revealed that for now they were involved in talks but he expects to see some implementation in the near future to address some of their concerns.
He added that the Association has halted protest action for now but will consider further demonstrations if results were not produced.
