First Citizens Bank treats its customers’ confidentiality with seriousness and complies with all financial disclosure laws in relation to the source of funds.
This is according to a statement issued by the Banks last evening.
The Bank revealed that it had not had the opportunity to review the statements made at yesterday’s media conference by Minister of Planning Camille Robinson-Regis.
It stated that First Citizens like all financial institutions was bound by law to treat with customers’ business in a confidential manner.
The release disclosed that the Bank took this obligation very seriously and that it earned the trust of its customers to ensure confidentiality of their business.
The Bank also said that in the conduct of its business, it acted in accordance with all relevant laws (including those related to source of funds declarations), and that it had policies and procedures in place that reflected this.
