Minister of Communication, Stuart Young says regional corporations and emergency responders have been out rendering assistance, where necessary, in light of flooding.

Speaking on Power 102.1 FM’s Power Breakfast Show on Friday, he gave an update on the affected areas.

Minister Young added that the situation is not as catastrophic as the flooding experienced in October but says the emergency responders are alert and ready nonetheless



Meanwhile Head of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management Captain Neville Wint confirmed the reports of flooding throughout the country while speaking with News Power Now.

He also said that the Housing Development Corporation had ensured that maxi taxis stood ready to evacuate Greenvale residents if the need arose.
