Former Minister of Energy and Energy Affairs, Conrad Enil reiterated the concern of many, regarding the drop in oil prices and the effect it will have on the country’s economy; this on the heels of the Prime Minister’s speech on the drop in oil prices.
Enil highlighted that very soon a lot of businesses within Trinidad and Tobago will have to move to reduce its expenditure; this he says indicates that we will be unable to maintain our current revenue.
Mr. Enil went on by advising citizens that conversations are very much needed to spark new ideas and to ensure the general public is properly educated.
