Former Minister of National Security Gary Griffith insists there was no attempt made by him or any other government official to cover up the marijuana find at the Prime Minister’s residence in 2013.
Mr. Griffith says a cover up by the government was impossible as it was the police’s job to handle the matter.
Speaking on the power breakfast morning show on power 102.1fm this morning Mr. Griffith said he will not be dragged into the politicking by Mr. Warner.
Last evening warner played recorded conversations between himself and Griffith in which Griffith questioned the work ethic of the prime minister.
He said Mr. Warner should be careful he does not admit to perverting the course of justice.
Griffith said also he is not inclined to attack or defend the prime minister.
Mr. Griffith reiterated that whether or not the prime minister was in the country does not make her culpable.
