Former National Security Minister says no terrorists should be allowed into the country

Former Minister of National Security Captain Gary Griffith

Former Minister of National Security Captain Gary Griffith is not in agreement with the stance of current

National Security Minister Retired Major General Edmund Dillon, on dealing with terrorist natives.

Griffith is strong in his belief that we must stop any citizens who have left to become terrorists, from

returning to Trinidad and Tobago.

He noted that action must not be taken based on rumors or heresy, but rather based on information,
intelligence and evidence.

He was clear however, that intelligence alone should be sufficient to prevent reentry of potential threats,
into Trinidad and Tobago.

Legally T&T cannot refuse their own citizen entry when they are coming back from Syria. However, if there is evidence they were involved in terrorist actions Mr.Griffith should provide a law that these people can be castrated after their return to sweet T&T.
