Former head of the Police Complaints Authority (PCA) Gillian Lucky was sworn in as a judge of the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago by President Anthony Carmona on Monday.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Office of The President, St Ann’s, where Chief Justice Ivor Archie, Justice of Appeal Mark Mohammed and his wife Indra, Sophia Chote SC, a member of the Mercy Committee, and Susan Seepersad served as witnesses.
Ms. Lucky, who had previously acted as a High Court judge from 2009-10, was accompanied by her mother Cintra Lucky and sister Antonia Lucky.
Ms. Lucky never solved any case against police thoroughly.She jumped ship at the first chance.You can’t go against police or high ranking officials in T&T and win.Nobody wants those jobs to bell those cats.
