West Indies pulled out of India’s ongoing tour with the fourth One-Day International (ODI) at Dharamsala being the last match of the tour.
This was due to a payment dispute between the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and its players
Former West Indies player Darren Ganga sought to shed some light on the issue, revealing that WIPA had a responsibility to negotiate with the cricket board on any new agreement.
Ganga disclosed that the real source of the dispute lay in the payment of sponsorship fees to the players.
Ganga explained that when it comes to negotiations there is a way to do so in order to maximize the opportunity for a positive result.
He claimed that he could not understand how Dwayne Bravo and the team pulling out of the tour could lead to a resolution of the dispute.
