A 31 year old man was shot while on his way home in Brasso Seco, Paria yesterday.

Phillip Noreiga, a gardener had just finished tending to his garden when he was shot by an unknown assailant around 11:30 am.

Noreiga was before an Arima magistrate on a shooting charge and his sister believes her brother might have been killed over that matter.

She described her brother as a quiet person who did not talk much but always had a smile on his face.

Blanchisseuse police are continuing investigations.
