A Gasparillo man was left fighting for his life after a casual lime at a friend’s home on Friday night turned bloody.
Police said that around 10 pm, 33 year old Jason Joseph left his Harmony Hall home for a friend’s house in the community where a group of men were liming.
While there, he got into an argument with a 20-year-old man who picked up a knife and stabbed him several times on his upper body.
Joseph was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where doctors were able to stabilise him, but he remained in a critical condition up to last night.
San Fernando police who responded to the scene arrested the suspect, who up to last night had not been charged.
Investigators said they are awaiting a medical report from the hospital before determining what charge will be laid against the suspect.
