Police Commissioner Dwayne Gibbs has been given 7 days to submit a report on the more than 9 hundred thousand dollar award of a contract to a company for air surveillance aircraft to the Police Service Commission

Confirmation of this came last evening in a media release from the PSC

The Commission held a meeting yesterday in which it decided to write Gibbs requesting all the necessary details of the transaction and the role of Deputy Police Commissioner Jack Ewatski in the award of the contract.

In its statement, the PSC says the allegations made against Gibbs and Ewatski are very serious and have been the subject of much public debate

Chairman of the Police Complaints Authority, Gillian Lucky, has confirmed that Gibbs may also have to face the PCA once the matter falls under the remit of the PCA
