Gillian Lucky has resigned from the Police Complaints Authority.
News this evening that Gillian Lucky has handed in her resignation, demitting herself from her position as Director of the Police Complaints Authority.
President of the Police Social and Welfare Association, Anand Ramesar, in an interview with News Power Now on Tuesday afternoon, described this latest development as a serious blow to the the country’s national security outfit.
Ms. Lucky’s resignation comes on the heels of last month’s resignation of Professor Ramesh Deosaran as head of the Police Service Commission.
There have been no replacements indicated since Mr. Deosaran stepped down from the post.
