Government and the Public Services Association (PSA) are expected before the Industrial Court this morning to contest whether there was a breach in the injunction handed down by the court.
The state filed an application yesterday afternoon.
Acting Prime Minister and Labour Minister, Errol Mc Leod revealed the state would be filing contempt proceedings against PSA President Watson Duke and has asked to have him “committed to prison” for violating the injunction, whichprevented the union from taking industrial action.
The state would also be taking action against an employee of the Immigration Division who is said to have disobeyed the court order.
