A Government Minister is admitting that crime continues to be a hot topic going into the general election.
Planning and Sustainable Development Minister, Dr Bhoe Tewarie, speaking on the Election Hard Talk Programme on Power 102.1fm this afternoon said crime is a national concern.
He said should the coalition administration win the September 7th election emphasis will be placed on boosting capacity in the police service.
Commenting on the issue of job creation Dr. Tewarie said this is another area of national development that was placed high on the agenda during its tenure.
