Commenting on the hot topic of crime, Minister West said more focus will be placed on crime reduction and gave insight in another crime plan which takes on a more holistic approach.

Minister West also expressed confidence that the state will be able to make progress on this serious national issue.

Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister, Clarence Rambharat, admitted that there is need to address challenges in the public service where concerns have been raised about productivity levels.
