The main access road to Guayaguayare was blocked off on Monday morning as residents protested over the failure by the Education Ministry to relocate the Guayaguayare RC school.

Member of Parliament for the area Rushton Paray explained what led to the protest.

He added that he is not surprised by the residents’ actions as they are understandably frustrated.
