Guns, ammunition and drugs found at house in San Fernando

The TT Police Service is today reporting the seizure of a Parabellum semi-automatic pistol, 43 rounds of .9mm ammunition and a quantity of marijuana at a house in San Fernando, by officers of the Organised Crime Narcotics and Firearms Bureau.

The officers made the discovery at around 7:20pm on Saturday after they executed a search warrant for arms and ammunition, at the house, located at Union Hall, Cross Crossing.

The firearm, ammunition and 52 grammes of marijuana were found in a bedroom of the house.

A 34-year-old woman who was found in the house at the time of the search, was interviewed and subsequently released.

The search is now underway for the woman’s 42-year-old brother, who resides at the same address.
