Health Minister, Dr Fuad Khan, is assuring citizens that concerns and suggestions raised about the Nurses and Midwives Registration Amendment Bill will be not be sidelined.He made the comment during debate on the Bill in the parliament this week.
Earlier, during the debate, temporary senator Dr. Aysha Edwards called for the country’s health care sector to be taken seriously.She said the health sector cannot be used to gain political mileage.
Dr Edwards said there are challenges in the system and there must be the will to correct weakeness identified.
Minister Khan said there will be review of the bill.
