A religious leader and former Independent Senator is insisting that the cries of those who experience injustice and oppression, is not being ignored by God. Reverend Daniel Teelucksingh of the Presbyterian Church made the comment during the funeral service of Dana Seetahal Senior Counsel on Thursday afternoon.
Ms. Seetahal was murdered while driving her vehicle on Sunday morning as she made her way to her home at One Woodbrook Place.
Speaking at the Aramalaya Presbyterian Church in Tunapuna, Mr. Teelucksingh said the prayers and agony of people who call for spiritual help and guidance do not go unnoticed by God.
Mr. Teelucksingh said managing this country’s affairs is not an easy task and the work of criminals compounds the situation.
