Ravi Balgobin Maharaj’s hunger strike has been restricted.
Mr. Maharaj embarked on a hunger strike against Dr. Wayne Kublalsingh yesterday.
His intention was to remain at his camp outside of the Prime Minister’s Office daily without going home.
However, in a Media release Mr. Maharaj stated that both he and members of Project 40 were informed by the St. Clair police that they would not be able to remain at their positions around the Office of the Prime Minister after 10 pm
This is as a result of security procedures related to that office building and also in keeping with the laws regarding public loitering.
As a result Mr. Maharaj stated that he will now be at his camp site from 7am to 7pm daily.
He said he intends on continuing his fast every day around the clock, however, he will now be doing so at his home, during the remaining time.
He is just full of it, going home after 7:pm to eat and sleep in his comfortable bed.
