If you want to fight crime, then take the profit out of crime.
This is the statement from Attorney General Faris Al Rawi.
The comment follows increasing public dissention due to the increase of violent crime in the country.
The ruling administration has come under scrutiny and received criticism for its perceived inability to stem the violent crime increase.
In a televised interview this morning the Attorney General said that in order to stifle crime, one must take the profit out of it.
He also linked the crime situation to the Foreign Account Bill.
He said that the Bill would target and arrest such issues.
