The standoff between the Public Services Association (PSA) and the Government, has enveloped the country and held the public to ransom for some weeks now.
The Industrial Court issued an injunction to the Immigration workers preventing them from taking protest action.
However things at the Immigration offices still have not returned to normal with workers claiming health and safety issues for their non-performance at work.
Leader of the Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) David Abdullah has stated that workers are well within their rights to refuse work if their health or safety is threatened.
He further stated that the reason for the debacle that is the immigration crisis is the fact that the Government did not pay attention when the issue first reared its head a few months ago.
The MSJ Leader also disclosed that this situation can only be resolved if the parties communicate with each other.
