On the heels of his resignation, former deputy chairman of the Integrity Commission Justice Sebastian Ventour has said he does not feel Emailgate has been investigated. The deputy chairman has tendered his resignation, saying that he is flabbergasted by the Commission’s decision to terminate the investigation into the Emailgate fiasco.
Speaking with the media yesterday, at his St. Joseph home, Mr. Ventour said he has chosen to resign from the commission because he was not in agreement with what was said to the Trinidad and Tobago public. Mr. Ventour said he took his oath as a member of the Integrity Commission seriously and based on what was placed in the public domain by the commission in reference to the emailgate enquiry, he had no choice but to submit his resignation.
