He claimed that by refusing Imam Yasin Abu Bakr entry into Jamaica, that country’s Immigration department was addressing issues of National Security.
He said he will not accuse Jamaican Immigration of affecting integration.
Abu Bakr went to Jamaica with his family yesterday to participate in the Million Man March.
He was refused entry into the country and was detained by security at the Norman Manley International Airport.
The Imam was escorted back to Trinidad by Jamaican Immigration officers on a flight this morning.
