NEWS GRAPHIC 15The Joint Trade Union Movement says its members will gather at the Brian Lara Promenade in Port of Spain tomorrow, to demand an end to nepotism, contracting out permanent jobs and other forms of corruption at the workplace.

In a statement issued to the media today, the union said workers from various unions and sectors will walk through the streets of the capital city in solidarity and call for accountability from the current People’s Partnership Government and the Chief Personnel Officer.

The Joint Trade Union Movement says it will also call for respect from the Minister of Labor, Errol Mc Leod and others in authority, while at the same time demanding an end to the use of defective buses, and an end to other health and safety offences being meted out to workers in various workplaces.
